At Dharma Xpress Inc., we are committed to providing reliable and timely trucking and freight services. While we strive for excellence, we understand that issues can occasionally arise. This policy outlines the conditions under which delivery charges may be refunded.
💸 Refund Eligibility
We will issue a full or partial refund of delivery charges under the following conditions:
- Delivery Not Completed
- If we fail to deliver the shipment due to reasons within our control (e.g., truck breakdown, driver error), and no alternative arrangement is accepted by the customer.
- Late Delivery
- If the shipment arrives significantly later than the agreed delivery window (over 24 hours late) and it causes financial or operational impact to the customer.
- Refunds in this case may be partial and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
- Canceled Orders
- If the customer cancels the delivery before dispatch of the truck, a full refund will be issued.
- If canceled after dispatch but before pickup, a partial refund will be considered based on fuel and labor costs already incurred.
- Damaged or Lost Goods (if Dharma Xpress is liable)
- If the cargo is damaged or lost due to our negligence during transit, a refund of delivery charges may be issued in addition to any insurance claim compensation.
❌ No Refunds Will Be Issued If:
- Delivery failure is due to incorrect address, unavailable recipient, or incomplete documentation provided by the customer.
- The delay or issue was caused by uncontrollable events such as weather, natural disasters, or road closures.
- The customer has breached any part of the service agreement or Terms & Conditions.
📝 How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund request, please contact us within 7 days of the original delivery date. Provide the following:
- Your name and contact info
- Delivery order ID or reference number
- Reason for the refund request
- Supporting documentation (if applicable)
